Earnest Edward Browning, 71, of Clyde died at his home on Sunday, February 21, 2010. Mr. Browning was born in Mayhem, West Virginia on June 28, 1938 to the now deceased Andrew and Opal (Salters) Browning. He moved to Clyde forty-eight years ago, where he was a member of the MOOSE. For thirty seven years he worked at the Whirlpool Corp., retiring in 2001. “Ed” enjoyed bike riding; playing pool, “for all the marbles” and especially spending time with his family, mostly on the front porch of his home. On November 3, 1959, he married the former Doris Bentley, and she survives, as do their children, Jim (Tuesday) Browning, Northport, Florida; Leeann (Mark) Wesney, Clyde; Opal Browning and Scott Browning, both of Clyde. Twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one sister, Clara Maybry of St. Mary’s, Ohio also survive. He was preceded in death by one great granddaughter. | |
