Mrs. Dymond was born in Fremont on November 2, 1928 to the late Wesley and Marjorie (Mason) Berger. She graduated from Fremont Ross in 1945 and had worked at the Ottawa County shooting Club; Ole Zims and the former St. Francis Health Care Center. Rosie was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Fremont and had been a Blue Bird and Camp Fire leader when her daughters were little. She was a wonderful cook and baker and enjoyed her flower garden and crocheting and knitting. On July 15, 1948, she married Lee S. Dymond and he preceded her in death on January 6, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Potter; grandson, Richard Dymond and siblings, Ivy McClory and Wayne “Moose” Berger. Surviving are one son, Lee S. II (Sue) Dymond, Clyde; and three daughters; Pamela (Steve) Nickloy, Port Clinton; Wendy (Gary) Smith, Deshler; and Rosemary Dymond, Bettsville. Eleven grandchildren; Aaron Potter; Rachel Potter; Jessica (Mike) Deeter; Tracy (Bill) Stubblefield; Mark Nickloy: Steve (Stacey) Nickloy; Brian (Sherie) McClain; Julie McClain; Adam (Crystal) Dymond; Betsy (John) Miller; and Kasey Dymond and fourteen great grandchildren also survive along with a sister, Vicky Wahlers, Rocky Ridge; and two brothers; Richard (Colleen) Berger, Lugoff, SC and Harry (Cheryl) Myers, Port Clinton. | |
