John was born in Bellevue on March 8, 1935 to the now deceased Joseph S. and Rose Mary (Battista) Famulare. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1953.
Mr. Famulare was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue; the Club Amer-Ital, where he had served as President; the Bellevue Eagles and Jenny’s Coffee Klatch. For many years he has been the owner operator of the Jenny’s Amsden House on Main St., Bellevue.
On February 2, 1957, he married Jeanette Boukissen and she survives, as do their five sons; Joseph (Mary) Famulare, Fremont; Vincent Famulare, Bellevue; Christopher (Dawn) Famulare, Bellevue; John Jr. (Diane) Famulare, Bellevue; Sal (Sarah) Famulare, Bellevue. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren, and two brothers, Charles Famulare, Downey, California; and Nick (Janice) Famulare, Bellevue.
