Frances M. Laviola, 85, of Bellevue, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Orchard Grove Assisted Living in Bellevue.
She was born July 21, 1924 in Bellevue to the late Rocco and Carmella "Nellie" (Baptista) Serraino.
Frances graduated from Bellevue High School in 1942. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Club AmerItal in Bellevue.
On June 10, 1950 she married Nicholas F. Laviola; he preceded her in death on September 8, 2004.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Kaye (John) Gates of Norwalk; her grandsons, Nathan and Nicholas Gates, both of Norwalk; her sisters, Mary Ann Guemelata of Bellevue; Josephine Silvani-Helm of Sandusky; and Rose (Richard) Stevens of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her sister-in-law, Donna Serraino of Bellevue.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Frances was also preceded by her brother, Joseph Serraino in 2007.
