E. June Boogher, 80, of Bellevue died at the Bellevue Hospital on Sunday, November 22, 2009 after a brief illness.

Mrs. Boogher was born in Republic on December 9, 1928 to the late Vernon A. and Agnes E. (Weiker) Butz. She graduated from Thompson High School in 1946. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue; and the Bellevue Eagles and VFW. June began her career as a licensed beautician in Toledo, Ohio and later worked at the General Electric lamp plant in Bellevue for eighteen years, prior to her retirement in 1984. She will be remembered for her personal strength, her resourcefulness and her creativity.

On July 3, 1948, she married William Boogher and he preceded her in death on July 25, 2002.

Survivors include their children: W. Michael (Sandra) Boogher III, Tennessee; Carol (Gary) Bernon, Massachusetts; Marie (Thomas) Jarrett, Monroeville, Ohio; Patricia (Dennis) Schoch, Fremont; and James Boogher, Bellevue. Nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one brother, Allen (Nada) Butz, North Dakota also survive.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tod Boogher and great grandson, Cayden Boogher; one sister, Annette Butz and two brothers, Robert Butz and Alton Butz.

Family services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellevue.

Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue.
