| Mary Catherine Loparo, 92, of Bellevue died Sunday morning, October 25, 2009, at the Bellevue Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Mary was born in Bellevue, Ohio and worked at the Bellevue General Electic Plant for 27 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Altar Rosaary Society, Daughters of Isabella and the Club Amer-Ital. Family was very important to Mary, as she enjoyed many memorable times with her children, grandchildren and great-granchildren. She also volunteered nuerous hours preparing and serving dinners at the Club Amer-ital and other various organizations. She was well known for her delicious Italian pizzas and a very giving heart. Mary is survived by her son, Sam (Marcia) Loparo, Bellevue; a daughter Jane (August) Sarty, Eagle, Idaho; grandchildren, John (Bonnie) Loparo, Clyde; Kim Sarty-Tiedeken, Eagle, Idaho; Thomas (Nicole) Sarty, Eagle Idaho and Gina (Scott ) Messina, Bellevue. Also suriviving are eight great grandchildren:Salvatore;Donminique and Johnny Loparo; A.J. ; Dominic and Ella Messina; Savanah Sarty and Hannah Tiedeken; along with a sister, Josephine (John) Perna, Tiffin, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John , whom she married on April 20, 1940 and he died on August 17, 1982; her parents, Dominic anc Madeline (Cucaro) Corrado; one sister, Frances (Corrado) Magi; and two brothers Frank and Tom Corrado. | |
