David Levi Weiker, 87, of Clyde, died Friday, October 9, 2009 at his home.

He was born April 9, 1922 in Seneca County to the late Perry and Ann Blanche (Hunker) Weiker.

David was a member of First Baptist Church. He attended Green Springs schools and was a farmer. He served in the US Navy.

On April 20, 1963 David married Mary (Eishen) Weiker, and she survives. Also surviving are their children: Anna Bowser of Clyde and Edward Weiker of Clyde. Four grandchildren: Joshua Neustel, Brandy Neustel, Karri Parkhurst, and Jessica Bowser also survive; as do two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Matthew Parkhurst.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his siblings, Delbert Weiker, Richard Weiker, Oliver Weiker, Mariam Reed, and Juanita Scott.
