Mr. Lemke was born in Dundee, Michigan on August 5, 1940 to the late William F. and Alice (Shultc) Lemke. Bill graduated from Macomber High School in 1958 and moved to this area 17 years ago. He retired from AP Parts, but had also worked at Champion Spark Plug and at the former Pilloid.
He was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fremont; the Northern Light Lodge, Maumee; NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Dori (Fremion) Lemke, Fremont; and four sons, William Paul Lemke, Jr., Toledo; Walter (Carol) Lemke, Oak Harbor; Wayne (Annette) Lemke, Toledo; and Ward Lemke, Toledo; as well as two step sons: Matthew A. (Wanda) R. Wyant, Bellevue; and Mark (Krista) Wyant, Clyde. Ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive along with his brother, John (Lori) Lemke, Maumee. Also surviving is his former wife, Sally (Kruse) Wing, Ottawa Lake, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Brenda Lemke and sister-in-law, Gloria Lemke.
