| Mary W. Wallingford, 52, of Bellevue, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Stein Hospice Center in Sandusky.
She was born March 18, 1957 in Bellevue, Ohio to Charles H. and Alice (Pickett) Wolfe and they survive in Clyde. Mary graduated from Clyde High School in 1975. She then went on to graduate from the College of Wooster and Case Western Reserve University School of Nursing in 1980. She was a registered nurse and had worked at many locations in the area, including the Bellevue Health Department and the Clyde-Green Springs Schools. Mary was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Bellevue, where she played in the praise band. She was very active in sports and had taught aerobics at the hospital. She loved playing piano and had also taught piano lessons. In addition to her parents, Mary is survived by her husband, David A. Wallingford, whom she married January 14, 1984 and their three children, David, Benjamin, and Emily, all of Bellevue. Also surviving are her sister, Gail (Scott) Hemsoth of Cottage Grove, Oregon and her brother, Arthur (Charlotte) Wolfe of West Melbourne, Florida. | |
